Starr Consulting grew out of Dr. Ken Starr’s work with community Fire/EMS agencies. Dr. Starr saw that prehospital providers were thirsty for information and enjoyed having him talk on the current topics of emergency care. They also enjoyed learning about the followup of the patients they treated. Other area agencies requested talks and the “consulting” business grew from there.

Attorneys in Oregon found Dr. Starr to be invaluable in understanding the medical details of the cases they were defending. He was soon included as part of the litigation team.

Ken Starr enjoyed this work and the results were extremely satisfying for the clients, attorneys and the prehospital crews. Starr Consulting identified the need for physicians who are specialized in emergency care to provide these services.
