Lisa Dawes is a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator and integrative nutritionist with over 15 years of experience in nutrition therapy and lifestyle counseling. Lisa’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science from Cal State Fullerton, a dietetic internship through Cal State Long Beach, a Master’s of Nutritional Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the American Academy of Diabetes Educators.

Lisa is well versed in a variety of different therapeutic diets, such as: Paleo, Paleo-AIP, Low FODMAP, Specific Carbohydrate Diet, gluten free, ketogenic, vegetarian, vegan, raw, macrobiotic and hCG weight loss diet. She uses a holistic and integrative approach to health and wellness and assesses and addresses underlying health issues that may be getting in the way of her clients achieving the results they are working for. Lisa introduces her clients to a healthier way of living by sharing her love of healthy food, exercise and stress management.

Through the use of E.M.D.R., Acceptance and Commitment Based Therapy, positive psychology, mindfulness, and self-acceptance based interventions, Katie helps her clients feel more in control and more satisfied and passionate in their life and relationships.
